For some years, the public debate about Social Responsibility has taken a more prominent role. This public attention has had its advantages; apart from specific activities many companies have started, even more companies have started to give a transparent insight into their efforts in this regard.
Headframe firmly believes there is a responsibility for companies beyond "just" making profit. This believe creates a framework for us, and guides us in our actions; both in ethics and in our drive for quality and sustainability.
Headframe is sponsor of "Stichting Bouwen", a small foundation that supports local communities in developing countries to build their own public facilities like schools.
Bart Heinen (director of Headframe) about Stichting Bouwen: "I met Eric and Michelle, the founders of this foundation, a couple of years ago while I was on a trip in Asia and Africa. I was immediately impressed, not only by their enthusiasm but even more by their approach, that focuses on instructing and coaching the local people to do the job themselves. This way change is implemented from within, resulting in a sustainable solution".
